EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine suppresses cerebral limbic system and hypothalamus by
acting on the
benzodiazepine receptors in brain, thus exerting central nervous
actions such as hypnotic,
sedative and anti-anxiety effects.
It is usually used to treat insomnia and for preanesthetic medication.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
