EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine decreases blood pressure by inhibiting angiotensin
converting enzyme (ACE)
and suppressing production of angiotensin II, a substance in the body
that constricts blood
vessels. It also reduces the deterioration of the renal function due
to diabetes mellitus.
It is usually used to treat hypertension, renal parenchymal
hypertension, and diabetic
nephropathy associated with type 1 diabetes mellitus.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch,
rash, etc.) to any medicines
or foods.
If you have a history of angioedema.
If you are currently receiving apheresis (a therapy to remove
unnecessary substances using
an absorber) or on hemodialysis.
・If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or possibly pregnant.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may
interact to enhance or
diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and
