COMPOSITION:
Each tablet contains:
 
Paracetamol
500 mg
PRESERVATIVE:
Nipastat 0,2% m/m
PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION:
A 2.7 Anti-pyretic or anti-pyretic and anti-inflammatory analgesics.
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION:
ANADIN-3 has analgesic and antipyretic actions.
INDICATIONS:
For the relief of mild to moderate pain and fever.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Sensitivity to paracetamol.
Severe liver function impairment.
WARNINGS:
DOSAGES IN EXCESS OF THOSE RECOMMENDED MAY CAUSE SEVERE LIVER DAMAGE.
Patients suffering from liver or kidney disease should take paracetamol under medical supervision. Consult a doctor
if no relief is obtained from the recommended dosage. Do not use continuously for more than 10 days without
consulting a doctor.
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Do not exceed the stated dose.
Adults:
One or two tablets repeated every 4 to 6 hours if necessary but not more than 8 tablets to be taken in any 24 hour period.
Children 6 to 12 years:
Half to one tablet every 3 to 4 hours if necessary but not more than 4 doses to be taken in any 24 hour period.
Children under 6 years: Not recommended.
DO NOT USE CONTINUOUSLY FOR MORE THAN TEN (10) DAYS WITHOUT CONSULTING YOUR DOCTOR.
SIDE-EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
Sensitivity reactions resulting in reversible skin rash or other allergic reactions may occur. The rash is usually
erythematous or urticarial but sometimes more serious and may be accompanied by fever and mucosal lesions.
The use of paracetamol has been associated with the occurrence of neutropenia, pancytopenia and leucopenia
KNOWN SYMPTOMS OF OVERDOSAGE AND PARTICULARS OF ITS TREATMENT:
Symptoms of paracetamol overdosage in the first 24 hours are pallor, nausea, vomiting,
