COMPOSITION:
Each 1 mL of solution contains:
        
Phenylephrine 
HCl        5 mg
        
Pheniramine 
Maleate        2 mg
PRESERVATIVES:
        Benzalkonium Chloride        0,02%
        Thiomersalate        0,002%
        all in aqueous solution isotonic with the mucosa.
PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION:
A.16.1 Nasal Decongestants.
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION:
Dristan* Decongestant Nasal Mist contains a decongestant, as well as an antihistamine.
INDICATIONS:
Dristan* Decongestant Nasal Mist is indicated for the symptomatic relief of hayfever, sinus congestion, and head colds.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Previous hypersensitivity to any of the constituents.
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Adults and children over the age of 6 years:

The DRISTAN* squeeze-bottle only works correctly when it is held upright and squeezed quickly and firmly.
Keep head in normal upright position.
2.        .Hold DRISTAN* nozzle loosely to nostril for effective spraying action.
3.        .To spray, squeeze bottle once or twice into each nostril, and sniff in. Repeat every three hours as necessary.
4.        In stubborn cases, follow the above directions, wait a few minutes, and gently blow nose to clear mucous. Re-apply
spray after half hour.
Children:
For children under the age of 6 years, consult your doctor.
DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED DOSAGE.
If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
SIDE-EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
When used as directed, side-effects are rarely encountered.
Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.
