COMPOSITION:
Each tablet contains:
        
CALCIUM GLUCONATE
        300,00 mg
PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION:
A 20.4 Mineral substitutes, electrolytes.
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION:
When one considers that almost two thirds of the dry mass of bone consists of calcium and that the skeleton and teeth
contain almost 99 % of the calcium of the body, one realises just what an important element calcium is! What is more,
bone calcium is not in a static state; it is constantly undergoing exchanges with the body fluid because the bones,
apart from serving the function of mechanical support for the body, also act as a source from which calcium may be
moved to the tissues when the need arises.
If your intake is insufficient, calcium is depleted from the bones resulting in deficiency states such as rickets, other
bone conditions and tooth decay.
Calcium is essential too, for normal function of the nervous and muscular systems. It is also necessary for normal
cardiac function and is one of the factors involved in the coagulation of blood.
Calcium plays important physiological roles, many of which are only poorly understood. There is, however, no doubt
about its importance! Can you be sure that you and your family are receiving adequate amounts of calcium, especially
