PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION:
A 10.1 Antitussives and Expectorants.
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION:
Relieving or preventing cough and promoting the coughing up of secretions from the bronchial tubes, lungs and trachea.
INDICATIONS:
i]

For the relief of symptoms of cough.
ii]        ]Soothes and molifies inflammation of tonsils, pharynx, trachea, mucous membrane of the bronchial tubes.
iii]        To encourage bronchial secretions in order that tenacious sputum is rendered more fluid and more easily coughed
up from the bronchial tubes, lungs and trachea.

]
Induces a flow of saliva and thereby frequently washing the superficial surfaces of the pharynx.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
It is contra-indicated in renal diseases and gastro-intestinal irritation.
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
ADULTS:
        Two medicine measuresful [10 mL] to be sipped without water every two hours.
CHILDREN 1 to 2 years:
        Half a medicine measureful [2,5 mL] every two hours.
CHILDREN 2 to 12 years:
        One medicine measureful [5 mL] to be taken without water every two hours.
