EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine blocks the dopamine D
2
receptors in the brain dopaminergic systems and
alleviates the symptoms such as hallucinations or delusions.
It is usually used for treatment of schizophrenia.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch,
rash, etc.) to any medicines
or foods.
If you have heart failure, Parkinson's disease, dementia with Lewy
bodies or epilepsy.
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may
interact to enhance or
diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and
dietary supplements
as well as other prescription medicines.)

・In general, for adults, take 1 to 3 tablets (50 to 150 mg as the
active ingredient) per day for
the first 1 to 2 weeks, and then the daily dosage is increased
gradually to 3 to 12 tablets
(150 to 600 mg) per day in 3 divided doses, to be adjusted depending
on severity of
symptoms or age. Strictly follow the instructions.
