EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine suppresses resorption of sodium and water in the renal
tubule of kidney and
excretes extra body water with salt into urine to remove edema, lower
blood pressure and
decrease cardiac workload.
It is usually used to treat hypertension (essential/renal
hypertension, etc.), malignant
hypertension, cardiac edema (congestive heart failure), renal/hepatic
edema and
premenstrual syndrome.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch,
rash, etc.) to any medicines
or foods.
If you have anuria or acute renal failure.
If you are patient whose amount of sodium and potassium in body fluid
has been decreased.
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may
