EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine reduces heart strain by increasing urine output through
suppression of
reabsorption of sodium and water in the distal renal tubule and
eliminating extra water from
the body.
It is usually used to treat hypertension, edema and premenstrual
tension.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
