EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine blocks histamine 2 receptors on the gastric mucosa to
suppress the secretion of
stomach acid and pepsin, and consequently prevents ulcerations.
It is usually used in the treatment of gastric ulcer and duodenal
ulcer, and for improvement of
gastric mucosal lesion (erosion, bleeding, redness and edema) in acute
exacerbation period of
gastritis.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
