For feed manufacturing use only
Active Ingredient: Contains 100 g/kg of ractopamine hydrochloride,
USP.
PREMIX FOR USE IN CATTLE
FOR USE IN CONFINED CATTLE FEEDS ONLY
INDICATIONS:
For increased rate of weight gain, improved feed efficiency and
increased carcass leanness in
confined cattle greater than 400 kg, when fed during the last 28 to 42
days prior to slaughter.
DOSAGE:
Recommended dosage of ractopamine hydrochloride:

10-30 ppm in final feed for increased rate of weight gain and improved
feed efficiency

20-30 ppm in final feed for improved carcass leanness
IMPORTANT:
Must be thoroughly mixed in feeds before use.
Do not feed undiluted.
MIXING DIRECTIONS:
Thoroughly mix 100 to 300 grams of Optigrid in 1000 kg of complete
beef feed (100% dry matter
basis) to provide from 10 to 30 ppm ractopamine hydrochloride per
tonne of feed. To ensure
adequate mixing, an intermediate blending step should be performed
prior to manufacturing a
complete feed.
Note:
Optigrid can be used in liquid feed supplements for further blending
into complete beef feed.
Optigrid medicated liquid feed supplements must be maintained at pH
4.5-7.5 and not used
after nine weeks storage.

FEEDING DIRECTIONS:
Feed continuously as the sole ration to finishing cattle greater than
400 kg for 28 to 42 days
prior to slaughter.
WARNINGS:
No withdrawal period is required in cattle when treated according to
the label.
Do not use in calves to be processed for veal.
Do not use in lactating dairy cattle.
When mixing and handling Optigrid, use protective clothing, impervious
gloves, and a dust
mask. Operators should wash thoroughly with soap and water after
handling. If accidental eye
contact occurs, immediately rinse eyes thoroughly with water.
The active ingredient in OPTIGRID is ractopamine hydrochloride.
Ractopamine hydrochloride is
