For further information about unapproved drugs, click here._ ---------- PETARMOR FOR DOGS WORM AWAY ACTIVE INGREDIENT (IN EACH CAPSULE): 140 mg Piperazine (as citrate) PURPOSE: For the removal of large roundworms, _Toxocara canis_ and _Toxacaris leonina_, in dogs. See enclosed insert for complete directions. PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS: IMPORTANT: CONSUMER INFORMATION Do not worm a puppy less than 6 weeks of age. For animal use only. Consult your veterinarian before using in severely debilitated dogs, also prior to repeated use in cases which present signs of persistent parasitism. Safety in pregnant and nursing dogs has not been tested. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. DIRECTIONS: Puppies should be wormed for the first time soon after weaning; 6-8 weeks old. Please refer to the following dosing table for help in finding the right dose for your dog. It is recommended that you weigh your dog to make sure you are giving the right dose. Puppies and dogs (6 weeks and older) weighing: Weight No. of Capsules 1 to 5 lbs.................................1 capsule 5.1 to 10 lbs.............................2 capsules 10.1 to 15 lbs...........................3 capsules 15.1 to 20 lbs...........................4 capsules 20.1 to 25 lbs...........................5 capsules Over 25 lbs..............................6 capsules Pull each capsule apart and empty content into one-half of the dog's regular feeding. To be sure the full dose is taken, mix it well. Make sure your dog eats the complete dose. Watch the dog for a few minutes after dosing to make sure the medication is not rejected. When dog has finished eating the dosed food, give balance of the meal. Repeat dosage in 10 days. Reinfection may occur - repeat treatment if indicated.
