WHAT DEZOR PLUS SHAMPOO
IS USED FOR
DEZOR PLUS SHAMPOO is
indicated for use in the treatment of:
•
Seborrhoeic dermatitis
•
Dandruff
HOW DEZOR PLUS SHAMPOO
WORKS
DEZOR
PLUS
SHAMPOO
contains
Ketoconazole
which
is
a
broad spectrum antifungal agent. It
acts by altering the permeability of
yeast
and
fungal
cell
membranes.
The
other
active
component
of
DEZOR
PLUS
SHAMPOO
Zinc
Pyrithione
reduces
flaking
and
itching
caused
by
dandruff
(keratolytic).
BEFORE YOU USE DEZOR PLUS
SHAMPOO
_-When you must not use it _
Do
not
use
DEZOR
PLUS
SHAMPOO
if
you
are
hypersensitity
to
Ketoconazole,
Zinc Pyrithione or the excipients. It
is also not advisable for use if you
have acute or chronic liver disease.
_Before you start to use it _
Tell your doctor:
•
IF YOU ARE PREGNANT,
it is not
known that the use of DEZOR
PLUS
SHAMPOO
can
harm
your unborn baby. However, use
of the same in the first trimester
of
pregnancy
should
only
be
used in close consultation with
the Physician.
•
IF YOU ARE BREASTFEEDING,
it is
not
known
if
DEZOR
PLUS
SHAMPOO
