Ocusan
®
is a sterile, preservative-fr ee, elastoviscous, clear corneal shield.
Suitable for contact lens
users – eases contact lens insertion. Ocusan
®
protect s, moistens and lubricates the surface of the
eye. Disruptions of the delicate balance of the eye’s tear fi lm.
Ocusan
®
is suitable for the treat-
ment of the symptoms of dry eye (such as soreness, bur ning,
irritation or dryness) caused by not
producing enough tears to keep the eye wet. This includes patients who
have Chronic Dry Eye
Syndrome and Sjögren‘s Syndrome. Ocusan
®
is also suitable for prolonged relief of discomfort
associated with mechanical str ess, e.g.:
-
wearing of hard or soft contact lenses
-
environmental stress induced by air conditioning, wind, coldness, sun,
dryness or air polluted
by cigarette smoke
-
visual stress from intense viewing, e.g. at computer terminals,
microscopes
-
advanced age
-
therapies with antidepressants, anxiolytika, horm ones and
antihistamines.
Co m po sit io n:
Sodium hyaluronate (0,2 % ), Sodiummonohydrogenphosphate,
Sodiumdihydrogenphosphate,
Sodium chloride, W ater for injections
A pplica t io n :
-
Open protective bag with clean hands and deta ch a single dose unit
container. Twist
off the fl at top. Apply 1-2 drops to each eye while press ing
lightly.

Apply 1-2 drops into each contact lens to ease insertion and keep the
eye moist and
lubricated.
-
You may reseal the container with the fl at top af ter first opening.
-
Use within 12 hours after fir st opening.
-
Store the remaining single dose units in safety bag.
-
Repeat application 2-4 tim es daily, as required.
Pre ca u t io
ns a nd Wa r nings:

For external ophthalmic use only.
-
Do not use damaged single dose units.
-
Do not touch the opening of the container and avoid direct contact
with eye.

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

Do not install Ocusan
®
eye drops at the same time as other ophthalmic drugs.
