WHAT YSP PREDNISOLONE SYRUP 3MG/5ML IS
USED FOR
It is used for treatment of bronchial asthma,
allergic disease, rheumatoid diseases (gouty
arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis), osteoarthritis,
psoriasis and other inflammatory skin
disease.
HOW YSP PREDNISOLONE SYRUP 3MG/5ML
WORKS
YSP Prednisolone Syrup 3mg/5ml decreases
or prevents tissue responses to inflammatory
processes, thereby reducing development of
symptoms of inflammation.
BEFORE YOU USE YSP PREDNISOLONE SYRUP
3MG/5ML
_- When you must not use it _
When you are allergic to prednisolone and
those with systemic fungal infections.
_- Before you start to use it_
Tell your doctor if you are using any other
medicines or you have any other health
problems.
Talk to your doctor before taking YSP
Prednisolone Syrup 3mg/5ml, if you have:
Systemic sclerosis (an autoimmune disorder).
Taking daily doses of 15mg or more may
increase the risk of a serious complication
called scleroderma renal crisis which may
cause your blood pressure to increase and
reduce urination.
_- Taking other medicines _
YSP Prednisolone Syrup 3mg/5ml may
cause unwanted effects if used together with
other medicines such as anticonvulsant
drug, rifampicin, cyclosporine,
corticosteroids, Non-steroidal anti-
inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), antacids and
insulin. Tell your doctor if you are taking
any other medication.
