Terapeutiske indikationer:

ASAP catheter placement is facilitated using a standard guide wire and a guiding catheter. A haemostatic valve is used with the guiding catheter for a fluid-tight seal around the ASAP. The guide wire is passed through the occluded artery, ASAP is advanced over the guide wire into the occluded segment. Embolectomy is accomplished by withdrawing the catheter through the thrombus while extracting the thrombus material into a syringe. For the removal of fresh, soft emboli and thrombi from vessels of the arterial system.
