PLUS
FAST ACTING ANTACID AND ANTIFLATULENT
MINT-FLAVOURED CHEWABLE TABLET
DESCRIPTION
Actal Plus is a round, flat, yellow tablet with 'ACTAL' marking on
both sides.
Free from foreign matter, no chipping and capping.
COMPOSITION
Each tablet contains 333mg of sodium polyhydroxyaluminium
monocarbonate hexitol complex
(equivalent to 200mg aluminium hydroxide), 152mg magnesium hydroxide
powder, and 25mg
simethicone.

INDICATIONS
For the relief of pain and flatulence (wind) associated with gastric
hyperacidity, heartburn of
pregnancy, peptic ulcer, pyrosis and indigestion.
DOSAGE
AND ADMINISTRATION
Adult (tablet must be sucked and chewed)
Gastric: Suck and chew 1 to 2 tablets: 1/2 to one hour after each
meal.
Heartburn: Suck and chew 1 to 2 tablets, before breakfast and half an
hour after each meal.
Indigestion: Suck and chew 1 to 2 tablets.
Peptic ulcer: Suck and chew 2 to 4 tablets.
Do not take more than 8 tablets in a 24 hour period or use the maximum
dosage for more than 2
weeks, except under the supervision of a physician.
ADVERSE REACTIONS
Overdose or prolonged use may on occasion cause constipation.
PRECAUTIONS
This product should not be taken concomitantly with an antibiotic
containing any form of tetracycline
because the antibiotic absorption may be impaired by the antacid.

NATURE AND CONTENTS OF CONTAINER
The medicinal product is packaged in PTP Aluminium Foil-PVC Rigid
blister packs. Each blister contains
10 tablets, packaged into cardboard boxes.
Available in boxes of 20 and 120 chewable tablets.
Not all pack sizes will be marketed.
