CLAIMS:
For the control of all gastrointestinal worms: roundworm, hookworm,
whipworm and
tapeworm in dogs, puppies, pregnant and lactating bitches, and to
control the shedding of
oocysts of the protozoan Giardia sp. in dogs.
ADVANTAGE DRONTAL ALLWORMER is recommended for the control of all
gastrointestinal worms in dogs including:
Roundworm Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina.
Hookworm Ancylostoma caninum, Ancylostoma braziliense (this hookworm
is rare outside
the coastal areas of north Queensland, Northern Territory and northern
Western Australia),
Ancylostoma ceylanicum,
Uncinaria stenocephala.
Whipworm Trichuris vulpis.
Tapeworm Echinococcus granulosus (hydatid tapeworm), Dipylidium
caninum
(common flea tapeworm), Taenia spp., Taenia ovis, T. pisiformis, T.
hydatigena.
and to control the shedding of oocysts of the protozoan Giardia sp. in
dogs.
Does not control heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis).
