USE
ONLY
WITH THE PRIOR PERMISSION OF THE CHIEF VETERINARY OFFICER OF
THE RELEVANT STATE.
Precaution
Animals receiving antibiotic treatment at the time
of,
or shortly after, vaccination may not
respond adequately to this vaccine.
Animals as young as 2 weeks
of
age may be expected to respond fully to the vaccine, although
risk of disease is low until animals are exposed
to
spores through grazing.
Side effects
Vaccination with this vaccine is followed
by
a mild transient fever and lactating cows may suffer
a fall
in
milk production.
A light to moderate swelling may appear at the site of injection. This
will disappear after several
days.
Anaphylaxis may sometimes follow the use of products
of
this nature. Treat immediately with
adrenal
in
or antihistamine.
