PERMIT FOR SUPPLY OF SPECIFIC BATCHES OF A REGISTERED
VETERINARY CHEMICAL PRODUCT AFTER THE EXPIRY DATE
PERMIT NUMBER - PER5311
This permit is issued under s. 112 and 114 (3) of the Agvet Codes. It
has effect throughout Australia. If this
permit were not issued, supply of the product as specified below would
constitute an offence under the Agvet
Codes.
This permit is issued to SCHERING-PLOUGH PTY LTD in respect of the
following batches of DURACIDE SUSTAINED
ACTION SPRAY-ON LICE TREATMENT FOR SHORN SHEEP (P38355) only:
BATCH NUMBERS: V01787, V01788, V01912, V01913, V02103 AND V02104.
Subject to the conditions below, this permit authorises:
(i)
Schering-Plough to affix an oversticker to the NRA-approved label for
the batch numbers listed
above, of the above product, showing an expiry date not greater than
60 months after the date of
manufacture;
(ii)
any person to supply or cause or permit to be supplied this product in
a container that has attached to
it an NRA approved label reflecting the new expiry date; and
(iii)
any person to claim that this batch of product can be used before the
new expiry date authorised by
this permit.
CONDITIONS OF PERMIT
1. The supplier must supply the product in a container that complies
with the requirements of Section 18 (1) (a-e)
of the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemical Code Regulations. Attached
to this container must be a label which
is identical to the NRA-approved label in all aspects other than
particulars relating to the amended product expiry
date.
2. The following batches of DURACIDE SUSTAINED ACTION SPRAY-ON LICE
TREATMENT FOR SHORN SHEEP are
permitted for release until the following dates::
BATCH NUMBER V01787: expiry date 30 April 2003.
BATCH NUMBER V01788: expiry date 30 May 2003.
BATCH NUMBER V01912: expiry date 30 June 2003.
BATCH NUMBER V01913: expiry date 30 June 2003.
BATCH NUMBER V02103: expiry date 30 October 2003.
BATCH NUMBER V02104: expiry date 30 December 2003.
