CARBO BETULAE COMP. TABLETS WELEDA Ref.No. U3475 Act 101/1965 CARBO BETULAE COMP. TABLETS Diarrhoea & Flatulence Remedy COMPOSITION: Per Tablet Carbo Betulae 232 mg Antimonit D2 27 mg Chamomilla , Radix Decoctum 10% 11 mg INDICATIONS: 1) Diarrhoea, indigestion and flatulence. 2) Helps relieve symptoms of food poisoning. 3) Digestive disturbances. 4) Stomach cramps and colic. MODE OF ACTION: Carbo betulae: absorbs gases and toxic substances. Antimonit: reduces inflammation and counteracts bleeding. Chamomilla: reduces cramps and has a soothing effect on the digestive tract. DOSAGE: Unless otherwise directed, 6-9 tablets to be taken three times daily with water. For food poisoning 20 tablets to be taken at once with water or Chamomile tea. COMMENT: For diarrhoea, Carbo Betulae comp tablets may be taken in hourly alternation with 10 drops Geum urbanum 30% (Weleda) in a little water. In cases of cramping it may be useful to take these tablets together with Chamomile tea as well as rubbing Cuprum 0,4% ointment (Weleda) over the abdominal area.
