To avoid microbial contamination,
unused portions must be discarded
within 24 hours after reconstitution or
first broaching of the vial.
CATS: 5 - 6 mg/kg (0.25 - 0.3 mL/5 kg)
bodyweight intravenously or 15 - 20
mg/kg (0.75 - 1.0 mL/5 kg) bodyweight
intramuscularly.
