Therapeutic indications:

CSF-Shunt Shunt Assembly Kits include a CSF-Flow Control Valve, an integral distal catheter, and a separate ventricular catheter. These devices are designed for use in shunting CSF from the ventricles of the brain into the peritoneal cavity or the right atrium of the brain. A system containing an implantable ventricular catheter connected to a valve, used to divert excessive cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) in the skull (hydrocephalus) to either the peritoneal cavity or the right atrium via a cardiac/peritoneal catheter, whre it can be absorbed back into the body.
