1. Initial cleaningto remove
heavy
milkstone build-up
a. Mix 2L
of
Duplex with 50L of hot water
b. Leave solution
in
equipmentfor 15-20 minutes
c.
If
possible, re-eirculate solution through
equipment
d. Use a brush or sponge
to
removeheavy build-up
e. Wash
equipment
with
clean hot water.
2. Daily cleaning
with
Duplex
a. After milkingmake sure hose is disconnected from the bulk vat.
b. Run
clean
cold water through the lines
c.
Mix
20
ml
of Duplex with 5L
of
hot water and add to each set
of
cups
d. Prior to the next milking, flush lines
with
hot water to remove detergent
residues
and freshen lines.
