What GastroRelief Antacid Tablet is
used for
GastroRelief Antacid is used for the
relief
of
pains
and
discomforts
of
heartburn, indigestion and acid reflux.
It
also
helps
to
relieve
bowel
and
stomach
conditions
caused
by
excessive gas.
How
GastroRelief
Antacid
Tablet
works
GastroRelief
Antacid
Tablet
reacts
rapidly
to
reduce
gastric
acidity
by
neutralizing
secreted
gastric
acid.
It
also
allows
mucus-surrounded
gas
bubbles in the bowel tract to coalesce
and be expelled.
Before you use GastroRelief Antacid
Tablet
- When you must not take it
Do not take this product if you
are
allergic
(hypersensitivity)
to
aluminium
hydroxide,
magnesium
hydroxide or simethicone.
Do not take if you severely debilitated
or suffering from kidney failure.
- Before you start to use it
This
product
is
unsuitable
for
phenylketonurics.
This product should use with caution in
patients with renal insufficiency.
- Taking other medicines
May
interfere
with
or
reduce
the
absorption
of
anticholinergic
agents,
barbiturates,
digoxin,
quinidine,
warfarin and vitamins.
How
to
take
GastroRelief
Antacid
Tablet
- How much to take
Adults
and
children
above
12
years:
Chew 2 to 4 tablets 4 times a day.
Children 6 to 12 years:
Chew 1 to 2 tablets 4 times a day.
Chew well before swallowing.
- When to take it
Preferably take ½ hour before meals or 2
hours after meals and at bedtime or as
directed by doctor.
- How long to take it
