PATIENT INFORMATION LEAFLET IFIMOL*500 Film-coated Tablet 500mg READ ALL OF THIS LEAFLET CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU START TAKING THIS MEDICINE BECAUSE IT CONTAINS IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR YOU. Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or ask your doctor or pharmacist. − Keep this leaflet. You may need to read it again. − Ask your pharmacist if you need more information or advice. − If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. This includes any possible side effects not listed in this leaflet. DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT Each Ifimol*500 film coated pink coloured capsule shaped film coated tablets having score line on both the sides of the tablet contains: Paracetamol BP…………………………………500mg The tablet can be divided into equal halves. Excipient: Maize Starch, Talc, Magnesium Stearate, Colloidal Anhydrous Silica, Sodium Starch Glycolate, and Colour Opadry pink II 85 G 84925 (Lecithin Soya, Polyvinyl Alcohol part hydrolyzed, Ponceau 4R Aluminium Lake, Talc, Titanium Dioxide, Macrogol/PEG). INDICATIONS IFIMOL*500 has analgesic and antipyretic effect and can be used for relief of fever and painful disorders such as headache, migraine, backache, joint and muscle pain, period pain (dysmenorrhea), toothache and sore throat. DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION For oral administration only. Do not exceed the stated dose. Always use the lowest effective dose to relieve your symptoms. Do not take more frequently than every 4 hours. Do not use this medicine if you are taking any other prescription or non- prescription medicines containing paracetamol to treat pain, fever, symptoms of cold and flu. _ _ _ _ _ _ ADULTS (including the elderly) and children over 12 years: 1 - 2 tablets, taken every 4 to 6 hours as required. Do not take more than 8 tablets in one day. CHILDREN aged 6 to 12 years: Half to one tablet, taken every 4 to 6 hours as required. Do not take more than four doses in one day.
