WHAT IS IT?
KELATOGEN is a treatment for pre-existing or new wounds, external
ulcers,
superficial cuts, abrasions, infections, abscesses, eczema, navel
infection;
bleeding and oozing of wounds in dogs, cats and horses. KELATOGEN
treats the
wound efficiently and prevents the growth of excessive granulation
tissue or proud
flesh to minimise scarring and restrictive movement.
KELATOGEN is suitable for all skin and wound problems, no matter their
severity or
cause.
WHAT’S IN IT?
KELATOGEN contains the condensation products of:
Meta-cresol monosulphonic acid and formaldehyde in a water based
concentrate
and also a glycerol based ointment.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Typically wounds can be difficult and slow to heal. Especially wounds
below the knee or hock. Wounds can tend to
produce proud flesh which can result in disfiguring and lower the
value of your animal. The active ingredients in
KELATOGEN solve wound problems cleanly and effectively. It removes
external debris such as dirt and grease, clearing
away such debris, KELATOGEN provides a highly successful healing
process. As part of this process KELATOGEN controls
the build up of excessive granulation tissue (proud flesh) in horses
and scarring in dogs and cats.
KELATOGEN also reduces bleeding from wound capillaries when applied to
small blood
