WHAT PANADOL EXTEND CAPLET 665MG IS
USED FOR
It is for the relief of fever and the relief
of
mild
to
moderate
pain
including:
headache, migraine, toothache, pain after
dental
procedures,
neuralgia
(intense
pain
along
the
course
of
a
nerve,
especially in the head or face), muscular
aches
and
joint
pains,
pain
of
osteoarthritis,
rheumatic
pain,
period
pain, pain after vaccination, sore throat
and
the
discomfort
from
colds
and
influenza.

EXTEND
CAPLET

WORKS
Paracetamol in Panadol Extend Caplet
665mg works to stop the pain message
from
getting
through
the
brain.
Paracetamol also works in the brain to
reduce fever.
The combination of immediate release
and
sustained
release
paracetamol
provides prompt pain relief, which may
last up to 8 hours.

a)
Do not use if you are allergic to
paracetamol

any

the
other
ingredients in the product.

Do not take Panadol Extend Caplet
665mg if you are pregnant, trying
to get pregnant or think you may be
pregnant.

Do not take Panadol Extend Caplet
665mg
if
you
are
breast-feeding.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for
advice before taking any medicine.

Setiap kaplet mengandungi Paracetamol 665mg,_ Carnauba wax, Triacetin,
Stearic acid, Croscarmellose sodium, Hypromellose, Pregelatinised
starch, Povidone, Magnesium stearate._
DESKRIPSI PRODUK
Tablet berbentuk kapsul, berwarna ‘white to off-white’ dan
bersalut filem ditanda dengan ‘8’ di satu permukaan dan kosong di
permukaan yang lain.
INDIKASI
Panadol Extend adalah satu rumusan untuk melegakan demam dan merawat
sakit tidak serius (sedikit hingga sederhana) termasuklah sakit
kepala, migrain, sakit gigi, sakit selepas prosedur
pergigian, bisa urat saraf, sakit otot dan sendi, sakit kerana radang
tulang-sendi (osteoartritis), sakit rheumatik, senggugut, sakit
selepas vaksinasi, sakit tekak dan ketidakselesaan disebabkan
selesema.
PENGGUNAAN
DEWASA (TERMASUK WARGA TUA) DAN KANAK-KANAK BERUSIA 12 TAHUN KE ATAS:
Ambil 2 kaplet (1330mg paracetamol), 3 kali sehari. Setiap 6-8 jam
bila perlu [maksimum 6 kaplet (3.99 g paracetamol) dalam tempoh 24
jam].
• Boleh diambil dengan atau tanpa makanan.
• Tidak disyorkan untuk kanak-kanak di bawah umur 12 tahun.
• Jangan melebihi dos yang disyorkan.
• Dos paling rendah yang dapat memberi keberkesanan dan tempoh
rawatan yang paling singkat harus digunakan.
• Pengambilan secara oral sahaja.
• Pastikan anda tidak ambil lebih kerap daripada setiap 6 jam.
• Ciri-ciri kelegaan berpanjangan akan hilang sekiranya kaplet ini
dikunyah atau dihisap.
• Dos harian maksimum: 4000mg
• Penggunaan paracetamol yang terlebih boleh menyebabkan kemudaratan
yang serius kepada hati anda.
CARA PENGAMBILAN
Pengambilan secara oral.
KONTRAINDIKASI
Jangan ambil ubat ini sekiranya anda alah kepada paracetamol atau
kandungan lain dalam ubat ini.
PERHATIAN & AMARAN
Jangan mengambil lebih daripada dos yang disyorkan kerana ia boleh
menyebabkan kerosakan serius pada hati anda yang mungkin memerlukan
pemindahan hati atau menyebabkan kematian.
RUJUK DENGAN DOKTOR ANDA SEBELUM MENGAMBIL JIKA ANDA:
