DIRECTIONS FOR USE
NOT TO BE USED IN FOOD PRODUCING ANIMALS
CONTRAINDICATIONS: THIS PRODUCT IS CONTRAINDICATED FOR USE IN
HORSES AND DOGS
WITH CARDIAC, HEPATIC AND RENAL INSUFFICIENCIES.
PRECAUTIONS:
Deep intramuscular injections should
be used only exceptionally on horses since
undesirable local reactions may occur.
Animals
suffering from vascular fragility or coagulation defects should
receive a lower
dose rate and injections should not be repeated.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION
INTRAVENOUS ROUTE
HORSES: 4mL/100kg of body weight every day or every 2 days
according to the
severity of the case.
FOALS: 1.2-2mL/100kg of body weight every day or every 2 days
according to the
severity of the case.
DOGS: 1mL/15kg of body weight daily.
DEEP INTRAMUSCULAR ROUTE
HORSES: 4-6mL/100kg of body weight the first day, 4mL/100kg
of body weight the
second day then 2 mL the following days for 1-4 days.
FOALS: 1.2-2mL/100kg of body weight to be repeated24 to
48 hours later according
to the severity of the condition.
DOGS: 1mL/15kg of body weight daily.
MEAT WITHHOLDING PERIOD (HORSES): NOT TO BE USED IN HORSES
INTENDED FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.
