CLINICAL PARTICULARS 4.1 TARGET SPECIES Cattle and pigs. 4.2 INDICATIONS FOR USE, SPECIFYING THE TARGET SPECIES CATTLE Treatment of infections of the respiratory tract caused by _ Mannheimia haemolytica, _ _Mycoplasma _spp and_ Pasteurella multocida_. Treatment of infections of the alimentary tract caused by _Escherichia coli_. Treatment of septicaemia caused by _Escherichia coli_. Treatment of acute mycoplasma-associated arthritis due to _ Mycoplasma bovis _ in cattle less than 2 years old. Do not use in growing horses because of possible deleterious damage on articular cartilage. Do not use in animals with central nervous system-associated seizure disorders. 4.4 SPECIAL WARNINGS FOR EACH TARGET SPECIES None. 4.5 SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR USE Special precautions for safe use in the target species: Degenerative changes of articular cartilage were observed in calves treated orally with 30 mg enrofloxacin/kg bw during 14 days.
