Therapeutic indications:

The Medtronic RF Enhancr II steerable ablation catheter is a flexible, radiopaque catheter constructed of extruded polymer over stainless steel braid. The RF Enhancr II catheter is designed for intracardiac radiofrequency ablation via the tip electrode and separate dispersive electrode, when connected to a Medtronic RF power generator. The RF Enhancr II catheter may also be used for intracardiac recording or stimulation The RF Enhancr II catheter is intended for use with a Medtronic RF power generator to deliver RF energy for intracardiac radiofrequency ablation of accessory atrioventricular (AV) conduction pathways associated with tachycardia for the treatment of AV nodal re-entrant tachycardia and for creation of complete AV block in patients with a difficult to control ventricular response to an atrial arrhythmia.
