DIRECTIONS FOR USE IN CEREALS (WHEAT, BARLEY, OATS):
Saxon will control or suppress indicated broadleaf weeds. Apply to
seedling weeds in active growth. Apply 2.0 to 3.0 litres Saxon per
hectare.
SUSCEPTIBLE WEEDS INCLUDE: black nightshade, chickweed, cleavers,
cornbind, docks, fathen, groudsel, hedge mustard, nettle, redroot,
shepherds purse,
thistles, volunteer brassicas, wild turnip, wireweed.
MODERATELY SUSCEPTIBLE WEEDS INCLUDE: calindrinia, clover, fumitory,
hawksbeard, mouse-ear chickweed, sow thistle, twin cress, vetch,
willow weed. Use the higher
rate for larger weeds and those listed as moderately susceptible.
The addition of Quantum® (500 g/litre diflufenican) at 200 ml/ha will
broaden the weed control to include the following weeds: speedwells,
stagger weed, field pansy.
The addition of dicamba or clopyralid will broaden the spectrum to
control other weeds such as mayweeds and yarrow.
APPLICATION TIMING:
To maximise crop safety apply Saxon between GS12 (two leaf stage) and
GS31 (first node detectible).
MIXING: Pour the correct amount of Saxon into the partly filled tank,
and while agitating add the remainder of the water. Maintain agitation
during spraying and
any stoppages.
ADJUVANTS: Additional surfactant is not normally required when using
Saxon.
COMPATIBILITY: Saxon is compatible with likely insecticide, fungicide
