ELEMENTAL SELENIUM 5mg (as sodium selenate)
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
_BY LAW THE USER MUST TAKE DUE CARE, OBTAINING EXPERT ADVICE WHEN
NECESSARY, TO AVOID UNNECESSARY PAIN AND _
_DISTRESS WHEN USING THE PRODUCT OTHER THAN AS DIRECTED ON THE LABEL.

SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE
EWES AND RAMS (50 – 60KG)
1mL (5mg Selenium)
CALVES (100 – 200KG)
2 – 4mL (10 – 20mg Selenium)
YEARLING CATTLE (250 – 300KG)
5mL (25mg Selenium)
COWS (OVER 300KG)
6mL (30mg Selenium)
DO NOT EXCEED MAXIMUM DOSE: 1ML/50KG BODYWEIGHT (0.1MG/KG)
For the requirement and frequency of repeat doses seek advice from
your veterinarian.
May be diluted with clean water prior to use to increase drench volume
as required.
Do not use at the same time as any other selenised fertiliser, prill
or product without consulting a
veterinarian.
Do not exceed stated dose, or dose more frequently than 3 weekly.
WITHHOLDING PERIODS
Milk and Meat: NIL
READ ENTIRE LABEL BEFORE USE
May be harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through the skin.
Sodium selenate suspected of causing
heritable
mutations/genetic
defects.
Sodium
selenate
may
cause
hepatotoxicity
from
repeated
oral
exposure at high doses
HANDLING PRECAUTIONS
Handle with care. Avoid contact with skin or eyes and inhalation of
fumes. When handling, wear waterproof
gloves. Wash hands and exposed skin before meals and after work. Do
not eat, drink or smoke when using
this product.
FIRST AID
If swallowed do NOT induce vomiting. For advice contact the National
Poisons Centre – 0800 POISON
(0800 764 766) – or a doctor, immediately. If splashed in eyes, wash
out immediately with water. If skin or
