SYNOVEX S implants contain two steroid hormones, progesterone and
estradiol benzoate. SYNOVEX S helps speed up the steer’s
weight gaining mechanism and help produce higher weight gains per
kilogram of feed. SYNOVEX S is recommended for use in
steers weighing 185 to 450 kg. The weight increase is dependent on the
quality of the animal and the feed. Maximum growth will be
attained with good quality stock that is free from parasitism and
disease.
CAUTION
6: Bulling, rectal prolapse, ventral edema and elevated tailheads have
occasionally been reported in steers implanted with
SY
NOVEX S.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: SYNOVEX S is not recommended for use in staggy
(bulling) or extremely restless animals. Not intended
for use in breeding animals.

Les implants SYNOVEX S pour bouvillons contiennent deux hormones
stéroïdes: la progestérone et le benzoate d’estradiol. SYNOVEX S
permet une accélération de la prise de poids du bouvillon, et il

d’aliments. L’emploi
du SYNOVEX S est recommandé chez les bouvillons pesant 185 à 450 kg.
L’augmentation du poids dépend de la qualité
de l’animal et du fourrage. La croissance maximale est réalisée
chez dez animaux de bonne qualité, libres de parasitisme et de
maladie.
PRÉCAUTIONS : Chez certains bouvillons ayant reçu des implants de
SYNOVEX S, on a occasionnellement rapporté une tendance à monter
d’autres animaux du même sexe, un prolapsus du rectum, de oedème
ventral et une élévation de la base de la queue.
CONTRE-INDICATIONS : L’administration de SYNOVEX S n’est pas
recommandée chez des sujets présentant déjà une tendance à monter
d’autres
animaux du même sexe, ou chez des sujets extrêmement nerveux. Ce
produit n’est pas destinés à l’emploi chez les animaux
reproducteurs.
