DIRECTIONS:
Dilute one part TEATCARE PLUS to four parts of clean water to achieve
an
emollient solution with 0.45% Chlorhexidine. Spray teats obtaining
complete
coverage after each milking. Use as a fine spray and sufficient to
allow a droplet
to form at the base of each teat.
Chlorhexidine is a widely recognized broad spectrum bacteriocide that
has been
used for many years in mastitis control.
Chlorhexidine has good activity against staphylococci, streptococci,
pseudomonas, coliforms as well as many yeasts and moulds. The
emollient
provide additional protection from teat cracking and assists in the
healing of
existing cracks and lesions.
TEATCARE will not taint or leave detectable residues in milk or milk
products. It
is non-irritant to cows’ teats and milker’s skin and is
non-corrosive to metal and
rubber.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION:
Toxic to aquatic organisms. Avoid contamination of any water supply
with
product or empty container.
EMERGENCY RESPONSE:
In case of spillage, wear appropriate protective clothing and prevent
material
from entering waterways. Absorb spills with inert material and place
in waste
containers. Wash the area with water and absorb with further inert
material.
Dispose of waste safely.
DISPOSAL:
Preferably dispose of the product by use. Otherwise dispose of product
and
packaging at an approved landfill or other approved facility. . Avoid
contamination
