PHARMACEUTICAL FORM Gel Tensolvet Gel is a pale green, translucent water soluble gel. 4. CLINICAL PARTICULARS 4.1 TARGET SPECIES Equine 4.2 INDICATIONS FOR USE, SPECIFYING THE TARGET SPECIES For the treatment of local inflammatory swellings and bruising, including tendonitis, tenosynovitis, bursitis and other acute inflammatory conditions of the musculo-skeletal system in the horse. Tensolvet also promotes the early reabsorption of haematoma and oedematous swelling resulting from such conditions. Tensolvet has been shown to increase the blood flow through the underlying skin. 4.3 CONTRAINDICATIONS Do not apply to broken skin. Do not use this product in cases where known salicylate hypersensitivity exists.
