POISON KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN READ SAFETY DIRECTIONS BEFORE OPENING OR USING FOR ANIMAL TREATMENT ONLY ZHUZINC ZINC SULFATE HEPTAHYDRATE FOR SHEEP AND GOATS Active Constituent: 980g/kg ZINC SULFATE HEPTAHYDRATE FOR TREATMENT OF MYCOTIC DERMATITIS IN SHEEP AND FOOT DISINFECTION OF SHEEP AND GOATS 25kg Net DIRECTIONS FOR USE MYCOTIC DERMATITIS IN SHEEP. • While maintaining agitation, dissolve 9 kg of ZhuZinc in 1000 L of water (makes a 0.9% solution of zinc sulfate heptahydrate) • Apply ZhuZinc solution using jetting wands or plunge dipping. FOOT DISINFECTION OF SHEEP AND GOATS: • While maintaining agitation, dissolve one 25kg bag of ZhuZinc in 240 L of water (makes a 10% solution of zinc sulfate heptahydrate). • Walk stock through a 4 to 6 metre long trough or bath containing the ZhuZinc solution for between 30 seconds and 5 minutes. • At the start of each day top up footbath with a 10% solution. Clean and empty footbath when required. • For optimum results move stock to clean pasture immediately after footbathing. • Disinfect all sheep or goats brought onto the property using a ZhuZinc footbath immediately before pasturing. • If contents of bag become solid through storage, break into small lumps before dissolving in water. WITHHOLDING PERIODS: NIL SAFETY DIRECTIONS: Avoid contact with eyes and skin. FIRST AID: If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre. Phone 131126. If in eyes, hold eyes open, flood with water for at least 15 minutes and see a doctor. DISPOSAL: Single rinse into the medicated water. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on site.
