STATEMENTS:
Each tablet contains: 600 mg CEPHALEXIN (as cephalexin monohydrate)
CLAIMS:
For the treatment of infections caused by cephalexin sensitive
organisms, including
susceptible Staph. aureus, E coli, Proteus and Klebsiella. For the
treatment of bacterial
infections of the respiratory tract, genitourinary tract,
musculoskeletal system, skin and soft
tissue in dogs and cats.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
For oral administration.
SIDE EFFECTS:
Nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea may occasionally occur. Allergic
reactions may be
observed but the incidence is much less than seen with penicillin.
DOSAGE AND
ADMINISTRATION:
Dogs: 15mg/kg twice daily or 30mg/kg bodyweight once daily.
Cats: 15mg/kg bodyweight twice daily
Duration of therapy should be for at least 48 hours after clinical
signs have subsided. Skin
and genitourinary tract infections may require long term treatment for
a minimum of 7 days.
