SYNOVEX H implants contain two steroid hormones, testosterone
propionate and estradiol benzoate. SYNOVEX H helps speed up
the heifer’s weight gaining mechanism and help produce higher weight
gains per kilogram of feed. SYNOVEX H is recommended for
use in beef heifers weighing 185 to 365 kg. The weight gain is
dependent on the quality of the animal and the feed. Maximum growth
will be attained with good quality stock that is free from parasitism
and disease.
CAUTION: Bulling, vaginal and rectal prolapse, udder development,
ventral edema and elevated tailheads have occasionally been
reported in heifers implanted with SYNOVEX H.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: SYNOVEX H is not recommended for use in staggy
(bulling) or extremely restless animals. SYNOVEX H is
neither intended nor recommended for use in ovariectomized (spayed)
heifers. Not intended for use in breeding animals or dairy
heifers.
