DESCRIPTION
Tetracosactide consists of the first 24 of the 39 amino acids in
naturally occurring adrenocorticotropic
hormone (ACTH). The sequence of amino acids in tetracosactide is as
follows: H-Ser-Tyr-Ser-Met-Glu-
His-Phe-Arg-Trp-Gly-Lys-Pro-Val-Gly-Lys-Lys-Arg-Arg-Pro-Val-Lys-Val-Tyr-Pro-OH.
