The use of [Wagg & Purr] Atipamezole Injection in pregnant animals has
not been
established and is therefore not recommended.
Precautions:
Due to the potent pharmacological activity of [Wagg & Purr]
Atipamezole Injection, skin
contact with atipamezole solution should be avoided. Wipe any spillage
off the skin of the
animal.
Side Effects:
In dogs, a transient hypotensive effect has been observed during the
first 10 minutes post-
injection. Vomiting and panting after [Wagg & Purr] Atipamezole
Injection have been
reported but these effects appear to be rare. Transient over-alertness
and tachycardia
may be observed after a possible overdose. RLP APPROVED
Dosage and
Administration:
Discard unused product within 6 months of first broaching the vial.
For intramuscular injection.

generally administered
15-60 minutes after medetomidine.

A clear colourless solution for injection.
Indications
[Wagg & Purr] Atipamezole Injection
is a selective alpha -2 adrenergic receptor
antagonist which is capable of reversing and abolishing the effects of
medetomidine
hydrochloride in dogs and cats.
