4.2 INDICATIONS FOR USE, SPECIFYING THE TARGET SPECIES
IVOMEC Premix for Pigs effectively controls the following parasites of swine when administered in the feed to provide
the recommended dose level of 0.1 mg ivermectin per kg bodyweight daily for 7 days:
GASTROINTESTINAL ROUNDWORMS
_Ascaris suum _(adults and L4)
_Hyostrongylus rubidus _(adults and L4)
_Oesophagostomum _spp. (adults and L4)
_Strongyloides ransomi _(adults)*

4.3 CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to the active ingredient.
4.4 SPECIAL WARNINGS FOR EACH TARGET SPECIES
Exposure of treated pigs to infected animals, contaminated premises, soil or pasture may result in re-infection. Since the
effect of ivermectin on mange mites is not immediate, avoid direct contact between treated and untreated pigs.
Since louse eggs may take up to three weeks to hatch, re-treatment may be necessary.
