WHAT IOBRIM
IS USED FOR
IOBRIM is used for lowering pressure in
the eye.
HOW IOBRIM WORKS
It can be used alone, or with other eye
drops, if single use does not work to
reduce the pressure in the eye for the
treatment
of
open
angle
glaucoma
or
ocular hypertension.
BEFORE YOU USE IOBRIM

_When you must not use it _

Do not take
IOBRIM:
• If you are hypersensitive to IOBRIM or
to any of the ingredients in IOBRIM
• If you are breastfeeding.
_Before you start to use it _
- Before you start to use it, please inform
your doctor
If
you
are
suffering
or
experiencing
depression, mental retardation, less blood
flow
to
the
brain,
heart
disease,
less
blood flow to the rest of the body or high
blood pressure.
If you are having or had kidney failure or
liver problem
If given to children between the of 2 and
12
years
old
because
IOBRIM
is
not
recommended for this age group
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding
Ask your doctor of pharmacist for advise
before
taking
this
medication
Inform
your
doctor
if
you
are
pregnant
or
planning for pregnancy. IOBRIM cannot
be used in breastfeeding.
_Taking other medicines _
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are
taking any other medicines or have just
started new medications, including non-
prescription medicines.
Tell your doctor if you are particularly
taking:
•
Anaesthetic
medication,
sedatives,
opiods,
barbiturates
or
frequent
alcoholic drinker

Drugs that blocks beta receptors (eye
drops
and
consumables),
blood
pressure
lowering
medication
and/or
cardiac glycosides.

Tricyclic antidepressants

•
If change of dose of any medication,
this
can
affect
your
treatment
