After use of the medicine, wash your hands
thoroughly in order to cleanse them of any traces
of medicine.
IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY TOOK A HIGHER DOSAGE
If you instilled more than one drop into the eye, you
may feel a bit of discomfort in the eye. Your eye may
tear and redden. These effects should pass, but if
they are bothersome, consult the doctor.
IF YOU OR A CHILD ACCIDENTALLY SWALLOWED THE
MEDICINE, immediately proceed to a hospital
emergency room and bring the package of the
medicine with you.
IF YOU FORGOT TO TAKE THIS MEDICINE, continue
treatment with the next dose, as planned. Do not
take a double dose to compensate for a forgotten
dose.
Adhere to the treatment regimen recommended by
the doctor. If you want to or must stop the treatment,
consult the doctor immediately.
Even if there is an improvement in your health,
do not stop treatment with the medicine without
consulting the doctor or pharmacist.
Do not take medicines in the dark! Check the label
and the dose each time you take medicine. Wear
glasses if you need them.
If you have further questions regarding use of the
medicine, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
4. SIDE EFFECTS
As with any medicine, use of GLAUPROST may cause
side effects in some users. Do not be alarmed when
reading the list of side effects. You may not suffer
from any of them.
STOP USE AND REFER TO A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY IN
THE EVENT OF:
Cold, flu, muscle or joint pain, chest pain, palpitations,
hypersensitivity of the skin, e.g., rash )rare).
REFER TO A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY IN THE EVENT OF:
Development of an infection, trauma, inflammation
of the eyelid, conjunctiva, eye or cornea.
VERY COMMON SIDE EFFECTS - EFFECTS THAT OCCUR IN
MORE THAN 1 IN 10 USERS:
∙ Gradual change, sometimes permanent, in the
color of the eye due to pigmentation of the iris
)can develop after a number of months or even
years)
∙ Redness and irritation of the eye )e.g., burning,
itching, stinging, gritty feeling, sensation of a
foreign body in the eye)
∙ Changes to eyelashes and the fine hairs around
the treated eye
