CHE COS'È _RISPERIDONE ACTAVIS_ E A CHE COSA SERVE
Risperidone Actavis appartiene a un gruppo di farmaci chiamati
‘antipsicotici’.
Risperidone Actavis è usato per il:
•
trattamento della schizofrenia, condizione in cui si possono vedere,
sentire o provare
cose che non sono presenti, credere cose non vere o sentirsi
sospettosi in modo
inusuale o confusi
•
trattamento della mania, condizione in cui ci si può sentire molto
eccitati, euforici,
agitati, elettrizzati o iperattivi. La mania si presenta nel corso di
una malattia chiamata
“disturbo bipolare”
•
trattamento a breve termine (fino a 6 settimane) dell’aggressività
persistente in
persone con demenza di Alzheimer, che danneggiano se stessi o gli
altri. Prima del
trattamento devono essere state adottate alternative non
farmacologiche
•
trattamento a breve termine (fino a 6 settimane) dell’aggressività
persistente in
bambini intellettualmente disabili (di età pari o superiore a 5 anni)
e in adoles
