TARGET SPECIES
Cattle, horse, sheep, goat, dog and cat

INDICATIONS FOR USE, SPECIFYING THE TARGET SPECIES 
SteroVet is used in all target animal species without marked electrolyte disturbances and acid/base
imbalance:

For therapy of hypertonic dehydration;
-
For coverage of maintenance requirements of fluid and electrolytes;
-
For partial coverage of energy requirements.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use in animals with:

Hyperhydration;
-
Hypotonic dehydration;
-
Hyponatraemia;
-
Hypochloraemia;
-
Hyperkalaemia;
-
Hyperglycaemia;
-
Addison’s disease (hypoadrenocorticism) in small animals;
-
Glucose intolerance;
-
Impairment of lactate utilisation;
-
Alkalosis;
-
severe liver impairment.
