WHAT CARBIMIN TABLETS IS USED FOR
Carbinoxamine Maleate is the active
ingredient of Carbimin Tablets.
Carbinoxamine Maleate is effective in
allergic rhinitis (inflammation in the
nose
due
to
allergy),
vasomotor
rhinitis (nonallergic rhinitis), allergic
conjunctivitis
(inflammation
of
the
thin membrane that covers the front of
the
eye
due
to
allergy)
mild
uncomplicated
allergic
skin
manifestation of urticaria (hives) and
angioedema (swelling under the skin).
HOW CARBIMIN TABLETS WORKS
Carbinoxamine
Maleate
is
an
antihistamine. It
works by
blocking
the action of histamine which reduces
the symptoms of an allergic reaction.
BEFORE YOU USE CARBIMIN TABLETS

_When you must not use it _

If
you
are
allergic
(hypersensitive)
to
Carbinoxamine
Maleate
or
any of the other ingredients
of Carbimin Tablets.

If
you
have
narrow
angle
glaucoma
(raised
eye
pressure),
symptomatic
prostatic
hypertrophy
(enlarged
prostate
gland),
bladder
neck
obstruction,
intestinal stasis (impairment
of
the
normal
passage
of
intestinal
contents)
and
pyloroduodenal
obstruction
(obstruction
of
stomach
outlet).

During
prolonged
acute
asthma symptoms (i.e status
asthmaticus)

You must tell your doctor if:

You
have
allergies
to
any
medicine
which
you
have
taken previously to treat your
current condition.

You are pregnant, trying to
become pregnant or breast-
feeding.
Carbimin
tablets
have
the
potential
for
serious
adverse
reactions for nursing infants.
