WHAT DRAPOLENE CREAM IS USED FOR
•
For the treatment and prevention of
nappy rash redness.
•
The relief of nappy rash and for use
as an adjunct to baby care hygiene for
the prevention of nappy rash.
•
For the aftercare of small areas of
superficial
burns
(limited
to
the
epidermis, which is the thin, outer
layer of the skin), limited sunburn
and the effects of weather.
HOW DRAPOLENE CREAM WORKS
Drapolene Cream contains benzalkonium
chloride and cetrimide. These compounds
are antiseptics which kill bacterial cells.
BEFORE YOU USE DRAPOLENE CREAM
_- When you must not use Drapolene Cream _
Do
not
use
if
you
are
allergic
to
benzalkonium chloride, cetrimide, lanolin
or any of the other ingredients in this
product.

_Before you start to use Drapolene _
_Cream _
•
The affected area should be washed
and
dried
thoroughly
before
applying
cetrimide
and
benzalkonium chloride.
•
For use in newborn babies, infants
and children, the nappy area should
be washed then dried thoroughly at
each change of nappy.
•
For
optimum
effect,
the
area
of
application should be free from soap
residue.

_Taking other medicines _
Tell your doctor if you are taking any
other medicines, including any that you
buy
without
a
prescription
from
a
pharmacy, supermarket or health food
shop.
HOW TO USE DRAPOLENE CREAM

_How much to use _
A thin layer of cream should be applied
evenly across the affected area.

_When to use it _
The cream should be applied several times
a day, as necessary/ after every napkin
change,
paying
particular
attention
to
folds in the skin.
