WHAT DUOBION IS USED FOR
Duobion is used to treat vitamin
B complex deficiency states.
HOW DUOBION WORKS
Duobion contains five types of
vitamin
B.
These
are
the
vitamin B which will replenish
the deficiency in the body.
Vitamin
B1
promotes
proper
metabolism of sugars and fatty
acids to get energy for correct
functioning
of
the
heart
and
nervous system.
Vitamin B2 helps proper use of
carbohydrates, proteins and fats
in body cells and is necessary
for healthy skin.
Vitamin
B6
aids
in
the
formation of red blood cells and
correct
functioning
of
the
nervous system.
Vitamin B12 also assists in the
formation of red blood cells,
thus helping to prevent certain
forms of anaemia.
Nicotinamide aids the nervous
system by promoting energy-
producing reactions in cells.

A 6.5mm diameter, yellow, round convex, scored tablet, marked 'UP'.
Each Duobion Tablet contains:
Thiamine HCl (B1)
5.0 mg
Riboflavine (B2)
1.5 mg
Pyridoxine HCl (B6)
1.0 mg
Cyanocobalamine (B12)
3 mcg
Nicotinamide
10 mg
Route of administration: Oral
For Vitamin B Complex deficiency states.
Vitamins are essential to life. They perform a host of bodybuilding
functions
integral to life and health. Daily intake of the various vitamins in
the right amounts
is therefore vital for everyone.
Vitamins exercise catalytic functions that facilitate the synthesis
and degradation of
the principle nutrients, thereby controlling metabolism.
Vitamin B1 promotes proper metabolism of sugars and fatty acids to get
energy for
correct functioning of the heart and nervous system. Vitamin B2 helps
proper use
of carbohydrates, proteins and fats in body cells and is necessary for
healthy skin.
Vitamin B6 aids in the formation of red blood cells and correct
functioning of the
nervous system.
Vitamin B12 also assists in the formation of red blood cells, thus
helping to prevent
certain forms of anaemia. Nicotinamide aids the nervous system by
promoting
energy-producing reactions in cells.
The B complex vitamins are all water soluble vitamins. They are
readily absorbed
from the G.I.T. Any excess beyond daily needs is excreted as unchanged
drug and
metabolites in urine.
1-2 tablets three times daily or as directed by physician.
Keep container tightly closed.
Store in a dry place below 30°C.
Protect from light.
Keep out of reach of children.
