WHAT EGODERM OINTMENT
IS USED FOR

For the relief of itching and
inflammation associated
with the following
conditions: dermatitis;
eczema; tender, itchy,
scratched or broken skin
rashes; eruptions in the
napkin area, anal or genital
itching; minor cold sores.
HOW EGODERM OINTMENT
WORKS
-
The mode of action of
ichthammol has not been
elucidated, however, it has
been in widespread use for
many years and is used for
the symptomatic relief of
itching and inflammation.

Ichthammol is mild,
soothing and non-irritant. It
has been available for many
decades and an extensive
literature review confirms
the absence of serious
adverse reactions. BEFORE YOU USE EGODERM
OINTMENT

This product should not be used
by individuals with known
sensitivity to ichthammol or any
ingredients of this product.

Please discuss with your doctor
or pharmacist before using the
product. No deleterious effects
expected during pregnancy and
lactation.

Currently there have been no
reports of problems when this
product is used with other
medicines.
HOW TO USE EGODERM
OINTMENT

Apply to affected area.

Apply 3 times daily or as needed
after cleansing with anti-itch
cleansing treatment.

When condition clears, continue
using Egoderm Ointment less
frequently for complete recovery
of underlying skin. Please follow
the advice of the doctor or
